I am still in Seattle a week after I first flew here. Originally I planned to either be in Hawaii or at least Las Vegas by now but that isn’t the way things played out this time.

Last week I flew in late at night, went straight to my hostel and first thing in the morning I headed to Portland, Oregon with Tawny and Chris. On Sunday I finally made it back and have pretty much been loving this city ever since.

I wonder if I had left on Tuesday as planned if I would love it as much as I do now?

My flight is an international flight tomorrow morning at 7:45am. I kind of don’t want to leave, or I want to intentionally miss the flight…

I still have so much to see and do, I didn’t get a chance to see the troll under the Fremont bridge or even explore Fremont for that matter. I haven’t visited Bruce or Brandon Lee’s graves (who knew they were buried here?!), I haven’t eaten everywhere, or made it to the top of the Smith Tower, I haven’t explored Capitol hill or eaten enough Yogurtland (OMG BEST PLACE EVER). I am sure there are a million other things I am missing out on too.

Make your own frozen yogurt at Yogurtland! I chose graham crack cinnamon, dutch chocolate and cookies & cream. And then…

I added all of the unhealthy bits, gummy bears, sprinkles, caramel cups, oreo crumbs galore! I should probably just get a job at Yogurtland I’m so good at it…

Seattle is definitely one of those cities that you visit and it just clicks. It is definitely a city I could live in. However I am sure I say this for every place I visit.

I have done some pretty awesome things though. As you would, I visited the top of the Space Needle and Pike Place Market, I stuck gum on the gum wall (the 2nd top germiest tourist attraction in the world 2nd only to the Blarney stone which I have also visited and kissed.), I took a wicked gourmet food tour, visited the SAM (Seattle Art Museum), road the free buses everywhere, hung out near the mission far too often, had Starbucks and enjoyed their free wifi EVERYWHERE. I rode the ferry to Bremerton and Bainbridge, I wandered and enjoyed some interesting street art, I screamed at the top of my lungs in the scream booth at EMP after being amazed with the Avatar exhibit and their guitar tree and a lot more.

Seattle…. what is up with this interesting street art?

I don’t want to leave. If only it were closer to home.

Seattle, I will be back. I like you.

Have you ever been to Seattle? What would be one of your favourite things to do there?
