Recently while in Toronto for a conference I was at a networking event at the Trios Bistro in the Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre hotel. I arrived a bit early and while waiting for the rest of the party to join me the appetizers for that nights event start coming out. At this point I was starving and the first thing put in front of me was Kale Chips.

Let me tell you I wasn’t too excited about Kale chips. I’ve actually never been that excited about Kale Chips. However being that they were my only option I grabbed one and took a bite.

I’ll admitted my opinion on Kale chips instantly changed. Sprinkled with what I’m going to guess is sea salt and some chilli flakes these things were actually quite tasty! I then also learned that Chef Morgan of Trios Bistro was Marriott International’s top Chef of the year in 2010… which basically translates into – this man can make ANYTHING taste fantastic.
