Vanilla Beans growing at the Villa Vanilla Farm just outside of Quepos, Costa Rica. The green pod you see here is what later is harvested and dried and turns into the dark brown color that we typically know Vanilla Beans to look like. The dried up bits at the end of them now are the shrivelled up flowers that have been pollinated. If you ever find yourself in Costa Rica РI highly recommend  you take a tour of the farm even if its just to smell how amazing the drying Vanilla smells.
