A few weeks ago Cailin visited Copenhagen with Chris from The Aussie Nomad and made this great little video. In the video they were a bit disappointed that the famous Little Mermaid was currently not in Copenhagen and was instead in Shanghai at the World Expo!
This week the lovely Carmen Roberts from the BBC’s Fast Track Travel Program ( “Online Check-in the Fast Track guide to all that’s weird and wonderful in travel on the web.”) featured a small piece from the video of Cailin and Chris on her show talking about just that! So cool! Fun surprise, eh?
Our first Soultravelers3 viral Youtube travel video was featured too at the end. It came as a complete surprise for us.
We kept hearing from people from around the world via Twitter & our facebook page who had seen it, but took us a while to find it.
Wow, I’d have been really disappointed too if I went to see the mermaid and she was not there. Luckily she was still there when we went, but she is smaller in person than most people expect ( like the Mona Lisa).

I found out a day or two before I arrived that she wouldn’t be there. I had been really excited to see her too! haha Also Chris and I talked to a few of the locals about her being moved and not a single person was happy about it.
I haven’t had a video go “viral” yet but hopefully I will soon!
