Favorite Film Friday #042 – MiniLook Kiev

I am a sucker for tilt shift photography and videos and this weeks film share Friday video is a time lapse video with a whole of that going on.

Created by Efim Graboy & Daria Turetski they refer to their imaging process as MiniLook which is the effect given by using tilt shift photography makes everything on screen look like they are miniatures of a real world and in this instance a miniature Kiev, Ukraine.

This masterpiece was filmed over 5 days made from 4,500 photos whittled down from 25,000 photos over several months. Check it out:

    Such a fan of tilt-shift! I can’t afford a real tilt-shift lens for my SLR but I am having so much fun with my iPhone app. Love this video, such a different look at a city!

      I totally agree Christine! I wish I had a tilt shift lens too!! Maybe we should set up a kickstarter for ourselves? ;) haha
