This weeks Favorite Film Friday is actually a video that was suggested on Facebook by Travel Yourself friend and follower Becky Conlon from www.RoadTripWithAReason.ca .
She says “Hey Cailin! Not sure if you have ever seen this before – its a short film featuring a poem by Tanya Davis (a Canadian) on ‘How to Be Alone’. It’s one of my favourites and I thought you might enjoy it seeing as ‘Travel Yourself’ is all about going out into the world alone”. It’s funny that she sent that to me actually because it is a favorite of mine as well. The video became a viral sensation in the summer of 2010 and was actually made in Halifax (where I live) and was actually made by a Director (Andrea Dorfman) that I have worked for before. Check it out and thanks for the recommendation Becky!
Please send more Favorite Film Friday suggestions my way!
