I this weeks instagram spotlight is on my friend Ayngelina of www.BaconIsMagic.ca and for having such a bacon loving name for a site I’m surprised I didn’t find more delicious food photos of bacon on her instagram! I did however find some yummy foods for you to to drool over. Check them out.
Ayngelina “I don’t know how these apples from China were “branded” but WTF? That is really messed up.”
I agree, seems a bit odd. I wonder what that symbol even means?
“You would think after eating reindeer nearly every day I would tire of it, but this is gorgeous.”
Taken on her recent trip to Finland. I’ve tried reindeer before and it is pretty tasty.
“Before main course of braised reindeer neck, Lappish resto serves reindeer 3 ways”
“My first taste of wild reindeer at Ravintola Lasipalatsi. If this is any indication, I think I’m going to like eating Finland.”
That is A LOT of reindeer eating going on!
“Amazing meal at DeseoBistro. Ellen is fantastic with wine pairing with sweetbreads, brussel sprouts, veal cheeks. I’ll overlook the teasing that I’m a chef groupie and my attempts to eat vegan one day a week ;)”
Happily I was with Ayngelina for this meal. OMG.
“Gorgeous charcuterie plate from@ravinevineyard the tongue is my favourite #icewinefest”
Enjoyed at an ice wine festival in Ontario. She is on her own with this one. I’ll pass on the tongue.
“It wouldn’t be a proper Christmas Eve without buying lobster on the side of the road direct from the fisherman.”
Taken in Nova Scotia. The freshest lobster you can get! It was really cheap this year, like $4.75 a pound.
“Love the service at @FSLanai when I asked if I could have spinach in my smoothie they didn’t even blink. “
In Hawaii, having a green smoothie. Not a bad life.
I’m pretty sure there isn’t a food she won’t try. To follow along with more of her travels check out her site www.BaconIsMagic.ca and follow her on Instagram @ayngelina for more drool worthy food photos.
