Travel Yourself Does Iceland!
Yes finally the day has come, I am releasing my Iceland video to the world! This past Saturday I was in New York for the first ever Nomading Film Festival, a travel video film festival that anyone can submit to.
Almost 100 films were submitted and 11 were selected to be screened to a live audience at the festival to be voted on for 5 prizes with the top prize being a trip to India with Intrepid Travel.
My Iceland video was one of the films that made it into the top 11 films however I will not be traveling to India anytime soon, at least not on a free intrepid trip as I did not win. But there is always next year!
I had such a great time at the film festival and in New York and I loved meeting some great friends in person like Mike Corey from KickTheGrind.tv, Brock Groombridge from www.backpackwithbrock.com Chris and Tawny from CaptainandClark.com and many more!
I am headed home now to earn some more money for the next big trip to Europe or Australia or somewhere…. Or everywhere!

I did almost the exact same tour as you last year, and I too could not pronounce a thing! What a stunning county though, I can’t wait to get back there soon too!
